Who Are We?

Welcome To VIP Veterinary Institute Of Paducah

Besides the existential crisis you may find yourself in when really scrutinizing the core meaning of title of this blurb, you’re in the right place if you want to get to know what VIP is all about.

Although every story has a beginning, VIP’s origins were not necessarily all positive.  However, the resulting fact is that the decision to create VIP from nothing was ultimately, like… the best idea ever.

Our combined vision was to create a “Concierge” style small animal veterinary hospital providing an efficient and professional, yet laid-back atmosphere while also providing the best modern medicine as we can muster…and we can muster A. LOT.

“The Veterinary Institute of Paducah’s core mission is to cultivate an environment in which our patients, employees, & clients can thrive by providing excellent medicine, thorough communication, & empathy for all .”

Meet Dr. Russell B. Jones

Russell B. Jones, DVM, a native of Western Kentucky, born in Marshall County and raised in Paducah, started his journey to becoming a veterinarian as a young child.

He was already asking for a veterinary toy set for Christmas when he was six or seven years old.  The kit came complete with a folding doctor’s bag made of cardboard, a plastic stethoscope, reflex hammer, syringe, and various bandaging materials.
